Hi!
My name is Shmuel Rosenberg
I'm a professional photographer currently located in Beit Shemesh, Israel. I've been taking pictures ever since I was able to hold a camera and started doing it professionally when I was 16 years old.
My deep lifelong passion for nature and the beautiful scenes it provides is what led me into the world of photography. Starting from some innocent cellphone photos I very quickly found myself invested in expensive gear and setting off on difficult hikes at all hours of the night and day, sometimes in extreme weather (more like especially in extreme weather) just to capture the perfect shot.
After years of gaining experience and coming across amazing locations around Israel and the United States I began to focus more on learning about the rich history of the sites I shoot across Israel and to seek out the locations where epic events have unfolded over the last thousands of years with an emphasis on the many archaeological sites Israel has to offer.
Utilizing a combination of my knowledge about these locations with my photography experience has allowed me to create high-quality fine-art photography of some incredible locations, some of which have hardly ever been photographed before. My goal as an artist is to showcase these sites in the highest possible way and display them to people across the world.
