Etri Ruins, Israel
I recently wrote a blog post about the fascinating events that took place in the Ellah Valley region during the Bar Kochva revolt against the Romans close to 2,000 years ago and I went out for a sunrise shoot at the remains of the ruins that were destroyed after the rebel's defeat. That morning greeted me with the perfect lighting conditions to depict the courage and heroism displayed at this very site so long ago. The warm sun rising into the dark blue sky showering the 2,000-year-old stones with warm and vibrant sunlight as the tree above stands taller than ever overlooking the Ellah Valley coming to life once again painted out the perfect scene to capture the essence of this wonderous location.
I used 3 pictures in a panorama to fully capture the width and scale of this epic scene and to transfer the story onwards into a fine-art print.
I highly suggest getting this on acrylic or metal for an epic, vibrant, story-telling print.
